Saint Piran head off world tour team interest: Will tidball extends his contract with Saint Piran

Will Tidball is back in black for 2024. We are thrilled to have Will on the team again this year where we will be supporting his goals for the Paris Olympics and the road season. Will had a tremendous 2023 season which saw him winning the Scratch race at the World Championships in Glasgow, together with other notable results on the road. We look forward to watching Will race at the highest level again this year.

“We are delighted that World Champion on the track Will Tidball has re-signed for Saint Piran. This is a sign of Saint Piran's growing reputation in the cycling ecosystem. What is crucial is that, in an Olympic year, athletes' aims and ambitions are put first. We believe that a happy rider is one that performs at their best; it’s therefore in our DNA to be rider centric. Will is focusing on his Olympic ambition and then switching to a road career. We want to be the go-to organisation that has this culture in the UK. Personally, I find his attitude, work ethic, and communication skills to be top-notch. Let’s make 2024 extraordinary.” - Richard Pascoe

“Last year, Saint Piran gave me the tools to win a World Title along with wins on the road. This year, I hope to build on that with the support of the Cornish and win more big bike races on the road, while having the best programme to shape what I do in the build-up to the Olympics, with a target of World Tour in 2025.” Will Tidball
